Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds may be issued for purchases of SourceVerify subscriptions and token packs.
Purchases are processed by Paddle (Merchant of Record). Refunds are initiated through SourceVerify support and completed by Paddle.com.
First-Time Purchase Guarantee
We want you to be confident trying SourceVerify. For your first purchase (subscription or token pack), you may request a refund within 14 days, provided usage remains below our reasonable-use threshold:
- Subscriptions: full refund within 14 days if you have run no more than 20 verifications in total.
- Token packs: full refund within 14 days if the pack is unused or less than 10% of tokens have been used.
- Bonus/promotional tokens are not refundable.
Subscriptions (Auto-Renewing)
Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled before the renewal date. You can cancel anytime; access continues through the period you paid for.
- Accidental renewals: we may grant a goodwill refund within 72 hours of renewal if usage after renewal is minimal.
- No refunds are provided for partial billing periods after cancellation.
- If there is a verified billing error or duplicate charge, we will correct it.
Token Packs
Token packs grant access to run verification tasks and have no cash value, are non-transferable, and expire 12 months after purchase unless otherwise stated.
- Unused packs: refundable within 14 days if no tokens have been consumed.
- Partially used packs: generally non-refundable; we may consider a one-time courtesy refund if less than 10% are used and within 14 days.
- Bonus or promotional tokens may have shorter expiry and are not refundable.
Beta & Early Access
- Features offered as Beta or Early Access are provided “as is.”
- Refunds during Beta are limited to billing errors, duplicate charges, or sustained service unavailability.
Fraud, Abuse & Chargebacks
- We may refuse refunds where there is evidence of fraud, abuse, or excessive usage followed by a refund request.
- Please contact us first to resolve billing issues; initiating a chargeback may delay resolution.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact us with your order details and a brief explanation:
- Your account email and Paddle order number (starts with “#”)
- Purchase type (subscription or token pack) and date
- A short note on why you’re requesting a refund
If approved, we will submit the refund to Paddle within 2 business days; funds typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment method and bank.
Jurisdiction-Specific Rights
Consumers in certain jurisdictions may have additional statutory rights (e.g., mandatory cooling-off rights for digital services). Where applicable law grants you a non-waivable right to a refund or withdrawal, we will honor it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy to reflect changes in our offerings or legal requirements. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice. Please review this page periodically.
